What I did on my summer vacation: section hiked PCT Washington Section J between Snoqualmie and Stevens Passes — about 72 miles across 5 days — with the adventurous and intrepid Mark Croft. Photo highlights below from both of our cameras. Made extensive use of Halfmile’s PCT maps for trail navigation.

Nice job by the WA State Department of Natural Resources and WTA volunteers with the new trail up Mailbox Peak. It’s still a grunt, now less technical.
